But with the buy-local movement comes a new generation farmers who didn’t grow up on farms. “From the Ground Up” features three California growers—Kristyn Leach of Namu Farms, Kenny Likitprakong of Hobo Wines, and Daniele Strawn of Jolee Blooms—who went from novice to in-the-know, creating farms on their own terms.

For the July 2018 issue of Modern Luxury Silicon Valley, I worked with EIC Anh-Minh Le to create the chalkboard set for the cover story on Robyn Sue Fisher, founder of Smitten Ice Cream. Doodling a whole wall science-y diagrams was both fun and therapeutic.
